Performance

The G|Bomb design allows for truck angles to be adjusted quickly and easily while providing ample wheel clearance, and maintaining both a consistent wheelbase and a lowered platform height. The simple and elegant design utilizes an exposed cam quick release to allow truck angles to be adjusted “on the fly” to an infinite number of positions.
Some benefits of the design are not as obvious. These benefits include both the portability and durability that the binding system adds to the board.

The G|Bomb system can be easily removed from the platform and then compactly stowed for travel inside a suitcase.

Durability

Traditional methods of lowering a deck and providing wheel clearance result in stress concentrations. For drop decks, the narrowing of the nose and tail combined with the forming of the wood, create local areas that are prone to early failure. For drop through decks, stress concentrations are inherent and abundant around the hole that the truck drops through. While some constructions prove more robust than others, these stress concentrations will always exist. The G|Bomb concept utilizes aluminum alloy construction to offer a robust solution to address these stress concentrations.

Through years of testing and customer feedback, we have found pumping to be one of the highest stresses for a deck. This aggressive repeated motion leads to failures from the cyclical fatigue of traditional drop decks. Based on this, we have focused much of our testing with some of the most aggressive pumpers around. Every time we have passed the test. Many customers have modified their broken decks, reshaped them for the G|Bomb system, and the result is new life for a once broken deck. The fact that skating is green has become clich
